Malaysia explored

Well Hello again! I know, I’ve been MIA for a while, but that’s because I didn’t have that much idea about how this blog thing works, and also I was doing various things because of which also, I was kind of occupied and completely ignored my blog. But… I am back now, and hopefully I plan to be better at it this time. Okay!! So a brief which was much required is over now, and so let’s start.
I went to Malaysia in August this year i.e 2017. This was a family trip but the colleagues from my parent’s office were also there. Basically it was an office retreat.
So to begin with… the first place after the take-off from Delhi, we landed in Kuala Lumpur, but we reached at almost mid-night and it was just for the night that we had to spend there that was, the very next morning, we left for Langkawi from there, basically the place from where the trip began.
Langkawi, the brown eagle, if you translate it is, is a mesmerising island. Not just it is beautiful to look at, but it is also the people of a place along with the food that make a place special if they are good, and kid you not, nothing at all was disappointing about the place. The name of the hotel that we stayed at is- Bella Vista Waterfront Hotel, their services although were a little chaotic when we reached there, but the hotel was really amazing to stay at. The best part being its beautiful architecture. Looks just like a British castle because of its grandiosity, and the view that I had from my room was pretty too. Also, we were lucky to get a duplex and I mean it was huge and so royal, I absolutely adorned it. Moreover their breakfasts were my favourite too, from fresh cut seasonal fruits to freshly made omelettes and waffles along with various kinds of flavoured breads. I must say, I’ve had the heartiest breakfasts.

Moving ahead to the places that I covered in Langkawi are as follows:-
First we went to the underwater world, and as the name suggests it was really a beautiful world of the creatures that live underwater, I loved everything about it, but have to say the cutest were baby penguins, running from one corner to the other and although they were behind the glass, when I went near them, some of them came towards the side I was standing to play, all the time I was only wishing to touch them, omg why are they so adorable. I never wanted to leave that place. Then there were other very exotic creatures as well, lots and lots of creatures that I had never seen so close. The other would be octopus, OMG I know it might sound strange considering the fact that so many people despise it, I loved it. The way it was moving, hands down the most majestic underwater creature award (this is my very own award) would go to the octopus. How are they so cool!!!...
Second, we went to the sky bridge and to that we took a cable car. That day it had rained heavily and so up there it was foggy and we could not get much of a view, but it was something, very calming, relaxing and beautiful. Plus I was literally in the sky, what else do you need in life.
Third stop was eagle square, which mainly was the symbol of Langkawi, their bird that has been hugely built and basically you can click a picture of yourself with it. It was nice as well.
Fourth stop, Mangrove tour, where they took us to see the bat cave, which was dark and had bats over the top of the cave. Then there were mangrove trees, and they told us how very important they are for our environment, I mean, we already know that trees are important and that’s right, but those mangrove trees kind of also have a historical significance. So, basically there was a very bad tsunami that had hit the place, that had destroyed almost everything around the place, but wherever there were mangrove trees, everything was absolutely fine, those trees had prevented most of the population from a huge loss of life. And so now, no one can cut mangrove trees there anymore, I guess they have made it a law or something, not sure about that, but for sure mangrove trees are now more sacred there.
Fifth stop, and also my favourite one, Island Hopping. There’s nothing I can complaint about at all, I was in the sea roaming from One Island to another, almost the whole day. It was awesome, and the best part was I had just learnt to swim last year and I got the opportunity to swim in an actually deep water without having anyone to save me if I drown (I mean there were people who could possible save me, but for the most part, I was on my own and that was awesome to another level). It was in the pregnant maiden island.
Finally we went to a beach, I mean being In Langkawi if it wasn’t already anticipatory. That was a kind of relaxation time for a couple of hours as we had spent only roaming consistently for a few days.
Okay finally was meant to be final in Langkawi, the final actually is Kuala Lumpur. We again boarded from Langkawi to KL and did some touristy things there like visiting monuments of historical significance, like the king’s palace, national monument etc. and the not historical significance ones are cocoa boutique, which was yum yum yumyyy!!.. And central market which was all about shopping shopping!!.
All in all it was a supercool trip, enjoyed hell lot, had some traditional Malaysian cuisines also in KL, did some more shopping.
Seeing altogether a different place is the best feeling. I feel like travelling opens up your mind somehow. I loved it, and I love travelling.

Ads pro matte gloss Only Rs.-120 lippie

MRP- Rs.-120/-
First and foremost, above is the link of the website from where I bought my lippie, if you want you can check it out as well and then come and read the review or vice versa๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’‹.

To begin with, the first thing that comes to my mind is the god damn priceee!!!!..
I mean at the time when everything is touching the sky in terms of price, this one is the best thing that could happen at this point.
So before beginning the actual review, below here are a few pictures of the exact product that I have got.

Okay!!.. So as you can see, the shade that I've got is skin kiss 419, and I love this shade. It is like the perfect nude for my skin tone and from fair to medium skin it will go perfectly fine.

Its qualities:-

It is true to its name, i.e it says matt and hell yeahhh it is matt. It is not even little bit shiny but yeahh after applying this takes around 30 seconds to settle so in that period, it can look shiny but don't ya worry its not gonna stay like that for long.
Secondly, it is a long wear lippie.. it stayed on me for around 6 hours and by the end of the sixth hour, what I noticed was that it was a little light from the actual colour that it had in the morning. It surely had faded a bit, but did not smudge or like cracked just faded all over, i mean that is kinda good at the price point at which it comes.
Coming to the pigmented part, trust me, you won't be disappointed at all. This baby is very pigmented and I've used many like hyped about brands that cost much more than this but are not as pigmented so this is a smart buy.
Okay yeah one more thing, if you've seen the picture above, this product is a liquid lipstick kinda thingy. It is not in a bullet form and so when you apply, it glides easily and is creamy as well.

Not qualities-

I mean at the price at which it comes and with the kind of qualities it has, i really do ignore what I am going to write right now, but i think you reading this should know all the sides of this cube(not technically but yeahh๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Œ).
Firstly, it does take a little bit of time to dry completely matt around 30-40 seconds and till that time it feels sticky on the lips, which can be little bit annoying at times and especially when you're getting late.
Secondly it fades more when you eat. No, it does not transfer but it fades from the lips but the thing is I have a habit of eating without like caring about anything, so if you eat carefully, don't worry then, it won't budge.
Finally, since it is matt, it is also drying on the lips it you apply it directly. So, make sure before you apply this, apply a lip balm underneath.

Overall, it is a great product and I have been using it got a month as well so, if I happen to finish it, I am definitely purchasing it again.
Below are some pictures of me wearing it-

And then I also thought of some snapchat๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Okay below will be the link again if by chance you happened to read the whole post and then you wanna go and buy it.
So, this ends my blog here until the next one

Maybelline New York Fashion Brow Cream Pencil - Grey REVIEW

Ohhh lord!!.. such a big title.. I am tired already๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜.
Another thing before starting, this product is on 15% off on Nykaa as on date 16/09/2017, so if you wanna check out, I've given the link below.๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡
http://www.nykaa.com/maybelline-new-york-fashion-brow-cream-pencil.html?ptype=product&id=71325&skuId=71327
One more thing, I won't be paid if you click this link so don't worry.
MRP =Rs.175
Discount price=Rs. 149

Claims by the company:-

To begin with the review, let's first talk about what the company claims.

  • Creamy formulation brow pencil.
  • Super blend-able eye brow pencil.
  • 12 hr wear.
  • Exclusive heat-proof.
  • Long-wearing formula.
  • Available in 2 shades: grey for dark hair and brown for light hair.

  • This is an overview of its major claims.

  • What I think about it:-

  • This is definitely one of the most affordable and quality product brought out by Maybelline, and am really thankful for that because it fits perfectly for someone like me who is a college student and on a budget.
  • So, to begin with the first claim, I'd say yes, it is creamy but not very creamy. It is the right amount of creamy needed for an eyebrow product.

  • Secondly, yes it is quite blend-able and very easy to use for a beginner.
  • Thirdly, it is quite a long wear. It stays for 7-8 hours easily, after which you might have to touch up, but considering the price, it is really good. Also after 7-8 hours you'd anyway touch up if you are going out.
  • Fourthly, coming to heat proof, it is. I am mostly travelling in my scooty, and so I do wear helmet but it is such a good formula that it stays put when I take off my helmet. I mean I wear it and I really don't worry about my eyebrows anymore.
  • Finally coming to the packaging, I also quite like it. It is very sturdy and compact and easy to travel with as well. Does not take much space and is durable.
  • Overall I quite like this product. Ohh and it also comes in a brown shade which is to be for lighter eyebrows. I have uploaded a picture of the swatch of the grey one if you'd want to check it out.
  • I've also provided a link in the end as well.

  • So, this ends my review. Hope it was helpful. Until the next post

    Faces Magneteyes kajal Review

    http://www.nykaa.com/faces-magneteyes-kajal-lasts-all-day-black.html?ptype=product&id=19750?&root=search&searchterm=faces%20kajal&type=product
So in my last post (i.e my Nykaa essentials haul ), I shared with you all the essentials that I bought๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ and after that, I have been trying those products some of which were new to me and so here's my review of one of that, which you now know by the title of it so i would just get started. This product is for Rs-175(you can get it on discount most of the times at nykaa).

First of all, lets just talk about the claims that the company makes, shall we!.๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜….
The packaging in the front says that it lasts all day, that it is extreme black kohl and is enriched with vitamin E. Then it also claims to be water proof, smudge proof and dermatologically tested. This is written in the front, and at back it says the same things with 2 illustrations on how to use it in two different ways meaning that as a kohl and as an eyeliner๐Ÿ˜Ž. You can see both the pictures below(front and back)๐Ÿ’ƒ.

Okay!!... So after having given their claims I would now like to share what I feel about it.
First of all talking about its first claim that it lasts all day, I'd say it does last pretty long as a kajal, for about 7-8 hours on me after which it does not smudge or something but would just fade that too only a little (keeping in mind that I have oily lids and most kajals would make me either look like a panda, or would just disappear from my eyes like I didn't apply anything at all๐Ÿ™…)
Secondly, talking about the colour. IT IS VERY BLACK. It is not blackest black but quite black in this price range. You guys too can have a look at it below-
Above is just one soft-handed swipe and below is 3-4 swipes with again quite light hands.
Then coming to waterproof and smudge proof, yes it is. If you just pour water, it wont do anything but if you apply pressure with your fingers it will start to come off. Also it doesn't smudge when it dries but if you want to, you can smudge it very easily when you've just applied it.
Finally coming to the part where it says that you can apply it both as a kohl and a eyeliner, I'd say it is better to use it as kohl more than an eyeliner if you're like me, in the sense that you keep touching your eyelids again and again by mistake, that's because it does not dry completely somehow on my eyelids and comes off on my hands as I touch it. However, I'd also like to believe that maybe that happens because of my oily lids but it does.
So, if you are not like me in that case, then I'd say it will work for you for sure, because it does for my friends.
Ohh..Heyy!!.. I did use it, both as my eyeliner and kajal and I can show you guys how it looks.
First I used it as an eyeliner and the pictures are below-

Then I used it as kajal as well and the pictures are below-

Finally, I'd highly recommend this product. It is worth your money if you are on a budget like me.
I really hope my review was helpful and really thank you if you made it till the end.
I have also provided the link at the top as well as in the bottom in case you'd want to check it out.

    My Nykaa only essentials haul๐Ÿ™ˆ

So recently I placed an order at Nykaa just for the essentials that I use every single day, and since I am blogging now, I thought I might as well share it with you guys. This haul would be a realistic haul, for I am also on a budget as I am a student and get only a little pocket money(thought I should mention it๐Ÿ˜œ).

I mainly went to shop for a kajal pencil and after a lot of contemplation and research I went ahead and decided for the one from Faces- called- the magneteyes kajal for Rs-175/-.  Here's my first purchase๐Ÿ˜Ž-

Then my second purchase is something that I use everyday and was running out it.. and nope it is neither a kajal nor a lipbalm but an eyebrow pencil. This product comes in my budget and is my second purchase because it is good (from the products that I can afford๐Ÿ‘€). It is the Maybelline New York Fashion Brow Cream pencil in GREY for Rs-150/-. Here, you guys also  have a look ๐Ÿ˜˜-

Then my third and last purchase is what is a craze all over the Indian YouTube scenario and by now most of you must have guessed it, but even if you haven't, that's also absolutely okay because, we're only Humans Duh!!..๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜›. The product is THE FACE SHOP -The solution pore care face mask for Rs-150/-. And I am only excited to try this. Also I bought just one of them because I first wanted to try it and then maybe I'l buy more if they suit me. The picture is below-

Okay!!.. so my haul should be over but it is not because(with some excitement in my voice๐Ÿ˜„) Nykaa was kind enough to include free samples of 2 products. The first is- Livon Hair Serum sachet-

Finally the second and the last sample that they sent me is Lakme Absolute Perfect Radiance. Have a look below-

Okaayyyy!!!!......... So it is over you guyss๐Ÿ˜…. Thanks a ton if you stopped till the end.
    Byeeeeeeeeeee until the next post๐Ÿ’•

Rimmel London lipstick review for undressed

So it has been 2 weeks or more since i have been using this lipstick from Rimmel London in the shade undressed. It retails for 275rs but i got it from Nykaa at a 10% discount if I remember correctly.
I belong to a fair skintone family and still i would say that the shade is quite light for me as well.
I personally am a sucker for nude lipsticks and so went ahead for this one. However i can only use this shade on top of a little darker shade and the effect of that is that it makes that darker shade also nude, that's how light it is. I would definitely not recommend this for dark skin tones for this will wash you out.
As far as the stay power is concerned, it stays on my lips for maximum 3 hours, if i don't eat anything that is, and if i eat, i will have to reapply it as soon as i finish eating. But for the price it is offered at, I believe it is okay.
Packaging is quite sturdy and not flimsy at all so that is good.
Overall my personal opinion is only that go for it only if you are very fair or you like a washed out face look, which also is absolutely fine. It depends on how you want to carry it. Finally, I do like the shade and am currently using it every single day.
I have uploaded some pictures below for you guys to see how it actually looks.

Links to check the lipstick out have been provided below and at the top, in case you are interested.
